I’ve a full-time job, and like a lot of you, I’ve all the time dreamed of releasing my very own recreation. However making a recreation whereas working a 9–5 is HARD.

"Weekends, espresso, and code — lastly constructed my escape room dream."

Each weekend felt like a struggle between my mind and my mattress. One a part of me mentioned, "Relaxation, you deserve it", and the opposite mentioned, "Should you don’t construct it, nobody will."

There have been occasions I didn’t write a single line of code for days — not as a result of I used to be too busy, however as a result of I used to be burned out or demotivated. Generally I’d open Unity, stare on the display, and simply shut it.

However I reminded myself: I actually love making video games. Even when it’s sluggish, even when it's messy, even when nobody notices — it’s nonetheless mine. That thought saved me going.

So I saved chipping away — one puzzle, one bug, one dialog field at a time. Lastly, I completed and revealed my first Android recreation. It’s an escape room-style puzzle recreation the place you discover clues, join them logically, and unlock the gate.

The sport isn't excellent. Nevertheless it’s actual. And it’s out. And that feeling… man, it’s value each hour.

Should you’re caught, drained, or doubting your self: I really feel you. However don’t give up. Hold constructing — even when it's only one line of code at a time. You by no means know what you'll create. 🚀
