Forward of tonight’s Nintendo Direct, Sq. Enix has simply introduced a Change 2 model of Ultimate Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster — and there’s excellent news and dangerous information.
We’ll begin with the dangerous information. On the Change 2, Ultimate Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will price $79.95 (digital just for us, it appears), which is similar worth because the Change model of the sport… however there isn’t a improve path. This isn’t a Change 2 Version, and there’s no conditional low cost, so for those who personal it already you’ll should pay the complete worth once more if you wish to play it on Change 2. There’s additionally no save information compatibility between Change and Change 2 variations of the sport, so for those who’re already taking part in it on Change then you definitely’ll have to begin over on Change 2.
The excellent news is that it could be well worth the worth of admission, because the eShop itemizing for the sport reveals that it consists of the beforehand PC-exclusive quality-of-life options, together with the power to hurry up battles and switch off random encounters within the area, amongst a couple of others. These options are a godsend for replaying by the sport, and to this point haven’t appeared in any console model of the sport.
We don’t have a tonne of particulars for the Change 2 model of the sport outdoors of that, but it surely’s prone to be operating at a better decision than the Change model of the sport, on the very least.
