Purchased an Xbox Elite Controller and seen it seems totally different

So fast query… did they modify the at an Xbox Elite controller seems? Trigger I’ve had MULTIPLE Elite controllers and none of them seemed like this or required batteries… did I one way or the other get scammed by Walmart or one thing?
