Clayton Carmine Gears of Battle Helmet

That is my customized made Clayton Carmine helmet from Gears of Battle. Initially resin printed, the helmet tragically shattered into a number of items proper after I photographed it. Refusing to let it die a hero’s dying, I introduced it again to life utilizing Bondo, glue, and a number of endurance full on physique store mode.

The paint course of was a blast:

Began with black primer and a transparent coat

Added a silver underlay with one other layer of clear for defense

Created a galaxy impact utilizing a mixture of gentle and darkish blue inks, splattered with IPA

Layered extra blue ink over that to deepen the impact

Completed it off with refined rust results on the perimeters and corners, plus a black paint/water wash. Whereas including Rub n Buff on edges for highlights.
