Constructed a quantity puzzle sport known as ChainRush. Simply launched on iOS/Android.
My 8-year-old and I brainstormed the core idea collectively throughout a sport design session. He's been my important playtester ever since!
**Core mechanic:**
Swipe by consecutive numbers on a 5×5 grid (3→4→5→6→7→8). Longer chains = extra factors. Max chain is 9 numbers (1→2→3→4→5→6→7→8→9).
**The puzzle:**
It's not nearly discovering chains – it's about strategically organising the board to allow longer chains on future strikes. Every chain you make refills the board, so planning 2-3 strikes forward makes an enormous distinction.
**Options:**
– Combo system: Chain a number of chains in a row for exponential multipliers
– Strategic power-ups (Hammer, Imaginative and prescient, Wildcard)
– Each day challenges with distinctive constraints
– 40 achievements to unlock
**What makes it totally different:**
Easy core loop with deep strategic depth. The "yet one more sport" issue is actual.
