Renting PS5s Proves Widespread In Japan

Japanese retailer GEO has had immense success with their PS5 rental service, particularly following Monster Hunter Wilds’ launch.

Talking to IT Media Information (by way of VGC), the retailer, which operates this system throughout 400 shops, provides an eight-day rental or 15-day rental choices. Whereas Sony has no precise hand in this system, GEO was in “deep discussions” with Sony forward of its launch.

Apparently sufficient, although, the success of GEO’s program may’ve impressed PlayStation UK’s personal leasing program, which equally provides a less expensive various to buying the console outright, even permitting you to hire equipment just like the PSVR 2 or DualSense Edge.
