Why is that this taking place, and extra importantly, how do I STOP it?!

What the title says, principally. For the previous few weeks, each time I get one among these adverts for Amazon, it nearly immediately opens the Amazon app on my cellphone. Why tf does Amazon suppose this can be a good enterprise technique? It's not like no one is aware of who they’re! However, most significantly, how do I cease it from opening the freaking app?!
