Steam controller works on Xbox sequence s

I’m very shocked, (possibly stupidly shocked) however I simply tried to attach my Steam controller to my Xbox sequence s and it really works! The proper pad really works as a mouse pad and all the opposite buttons work as they need to be. The Steam controller is horrible normally however I’m glad to see this sort of compatibility
