As reported by IGN and DotEsports, German Counter-Strike 2 participant MAUschine has been banned from the CAGGTUS Leipzig match for 10 years for putting his opponent, Fabian “Spidergum” Salomon, after a heated match.
Influencer Jake Fortunate shared a video to X of the second MAUschine socked Spidergum throughout the awards portion of the match: Spidergum’s glasses flew off, and MAUschine moved on to shake different gamers’ arms with out lacking a beat—the brass balls on this man—because the presenter rapidly realized one thing was fallacious.

In a video shared by ClipsGD on X, MAUschine apparently explains his reasoning for punching Spidergum. We have not translated the video from German right now, however MAUschine clearly had some objection to Spidergum shouting the phrase “papichulo”—probably the Spanish “papi chulo”—after successful a match in opposition to MAUschine’s staff. IGN and esports observer Rod Breslau famous that this was MAUschine’s personal catchphrase or alias, repeated again to him mockingly.

Match organizers Dach CS Masters acted rapidly to censure MAUschine. “We don’t tolerate bodily assaults in opposition to different gamers at LAN and have acted accordingly,” the group wrote in a tweet on X. “MAUschine is banned for at the very least 10 years and the incident has moreover been reported to [the Esports Integrity Commission].
