That’s not a minor absence to shrug off. Shedding your captain and shotcaller days earlier than a tier-one LAN is the type of gut-punch that reshapes a complete event run earlier than a single spherical has been performed, no matter how the roster round him appears on paper.
What We Really Know Concerning the Restoration Timeline
Per Sport.ua’s reporting, arT is at present below medical supervision and dealing with a restoration course of anticipated to final at the very least 10 days, which guidelines him out of travelling with the staff altogether. The outlet experiences that Legacy have already lined up a alternative for the occasion: 24-year-old Brazilian Pedro “bobz” Rocha, described because the staff’s analyst, who will step in as stand-in for the event.
Pulling an analyst out of the teaching sales space and right into a aggressive seat is rarely a like-for-like swap, and it places Legacy in the same bind to the one Vitality confronted after they needed to name on a reserve for their very own ESL Professional League Season 24 lineup. Sudden roster contingencies have gotten one thing of a operating theme heading into this version of the occasion.
Katowice Nonetheless Occurs, Simply With out Its Captain

Legacy are nonetheless anticipated to make the journey and compete with bobz filling in, fairly than withdrawing from the occasion outright.
Participant-related shakeups have a manner of colliding with aggressive integrity questions in Counter-Strike currently, as seen within the fallout from the match-fixing ban that rocked the scene earlier this yr. This one’s a special animal completely – a well being emergency fairly than a scandal – however it’s one other reminder that event storylines not often keep on with the script written within the group-stage brackets.
For now, the confirmed information are easy: arT is out, bobz is in, and Legacy’s Katowice marketing campaign begins with a query mark hanging over the captain’s chair. Whether or not that’s a short lived blip or the beginning of an extended roster dialog is a narrative for after the group stage settles.
