It appears no-one is protected from hackers because the official Pokemon X account was briefly hacked and was promoting memecoin forward of the Pokemon World Championships. The Pokemon Firm shortly regained management of the account and a screenshot has been saved of the proceedings. The Pokemon Firm has apologised to followers and stated on X that the posts selling crypto “weren’t created or authorized by Pokémon and have been eliminated.”
