PSN Returns After Prolonged Outage

After principally an entire day, the PlayStation Community is again in its entirety. Beforehand, it was a gradual roll out that was on-again-off-again for a few of us at PSX Excessive.

PSN servers had been yanked offline round 6 PM EST yesterday and it seems solely simply now are servers absolutely operational, based mostly on the PSN standing web page.

Thus far, PlayStation hasn’t addressed the reason for the outage, however we suspect one thing will come out in due time. The priority nonetheless floats round that this was one other assault, albeit at a smaller scale, akin to the 2011 hack that led to an enormous knowledge breach. That mentioned, to be clear, there’s no proof of it being greater than a daily outage past Sony taking longer than regular.

Fortunately, now everybody can go about their day and get their common repair of Astro Bot and Name of Obligation.
