Insider Gaming has claimed in a brand new report that Techland is engaged on a brand new Name of Juarez title, following experiences earlier as we speak that the corporate has ceased growth of two titles.

Reporter Tom Henderson said that the Name of Juarez sequel has been in manufacturing for some time and is about to utilise the Unreal Engine, which differs from earlier instalments, which have been powered by the Chrome Engine. Techland is the developer behind the earlier Name of Juarez titles, though it’s been some time since we noticed the franchise, with the final entry being Name of Juarez Gunslinger again in 2013.

Whereas the publishing rights to the Name of Juarez sequence was held by Ubisoft between 2006 — 2018, Techland acquired the rights to the IP as of 2018.
