Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii has advised Japanese information publication Nintendo Dream that Sq. Enix did think about making a Dragon Quest 3 remake in 3D. Horii says that there have been conversations among the many improvement staff, although they in the end determined that the unique attraction of the sport would almost certainly be misplaced in translation.
“At first there was dialog about making the sport 3D, but when we make any Famicom recreation into 3D it considerably adjustments the sensation of the sport too. By utilizing HD-2D as a substitute we will cleanly recall the recollections of the unique with out altering the sport itself.”
