The unique Thunder Hoop, from 1992, is a platformer through which the teenage hero has to combat cartoonish monsters throughout a cityscape that features the compulsory sewer and underwater ranges. The 1994 sequel ages him as much as a beefcake grownup who has heard of shirts and thinks they’re for cowards, and consists of much more run-and-gun motion in opposition to girls in latex, and a sequence the place he goes Tremendous Saiyan than flies into area for a Gradius-style scrolling shooter bit.
